Durrani’s warning

PESHAWAR, Feb 24: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani on Monday warned that strict action would be taken against those involved in horse trading in Senate elections.

Talking to newsmen in the provincial assembly building, he claimed “severe horse trading” in Senate elections and said that 10 million rupees had been offered to the MPAs belonging to the MMA. However, he added, the MPAs had rejected the offer and cast the vote on merit and according to their will.—PPI
