3 held, arms seized in D. I. Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 23: Police have seized arms and ammunition and arrested three persons including a woman on Friday.

The Saddar police raided the residence of Mohammad Younus Wazir at village Mandhran Kalan and seized one Kalashnikov with 53 cartridges, one Kalakov with 110 cartridges and a gun with eight cartridges. Police have arrested the accused.

In another raid at village Muqeem Shah, a woman was arrested and one Kalashnikov with 27 cartridges and one pistol was recovered from her house.

Meanwhile, Gomal University police arrested Akhtar Nawaz Marwat and seized a Kalashnikov from his possession.
