PML-N forms anti-war fronts

LAHORE, Feb 17: The PML-N has started establishing anti-war fronts at town, district, provincial and national levels to check the US “expansionism” and show solidarity with Iraqi people.

Punjab secretary-general of the party and MNA Khwaja Saad Rafiq said in a statement on Monday that the task had been initiated from Lahore.

He said if Pakistan nation delayed expressing its hatred against war designs of the US administration, it would be dangerous for the solidarity, security and stability of its own country.

He urged all parliamentary groups in the National Assembly to organize a joint anti-war rally on the Constitution Avenue in Islamabad on the eve of the next NA session.

He suggested the holding of anti-war rallies in all big cities simultaneously in which the people should participate along with their families.

He appealed to transporters that they should provide free transport facility for such rallies.
