Man killed in landmine blast

SIALKOT, Feb 17: A villager was killed and another injured seriously in a heavy landmine blast in Kot Nainan village along the working boundary’s Shakargarh sector, on Monday.

According to sources, two villagers, Mohammad Tariq Shahin and Allah Ditta, were passing through the fields when they hit an anti-tank landmine planted there. The landmine went off with a thunder, killing Tariq Shahin and cutting the right leg of Allah Ditta.
