BD violence toll hits 30
DHAKA, Feb 16: Violence in rural elections in Bangladesh has left more than 30 people dead and 2,500 injured since January 25, newspapers said on Sunday.
Three people died in explosions on Friday night in the southern town of Gaurnadi and southwestern Jessore district, a day before an election to a local council.—Reuters
