Ahmed Saeed made PIA chairman
KARACHI, Feb 9: The Managing Director of Pakistan International Airlines, Ahmed Saeed, has been appointed Chairman of the PIA with immediate effect, a PIA spokesman said.
In addition to his new responsibilities, Mr Saeed would continue to hold the charge of PIA managing director till further orders.
Mr Saeed, who had taken over as PIA MD in 2001 on a two-year contract, was recently given a two-year extension.
