Governor vows to serve people

QUETTA, Feb 8: Balochistan Governor Abdul Qadir said on Friday that he will perform his duties honestly as constitutional head of the province and make all out efforts to serve the people without any prejudice or discrimination.

Talking to delegations from Kharan, Kalat, Surab and Dera Murad Jamali, he said he was aware of the public problems and would take every possible step to resolve them besides providing the people maximum civic facilities.

He assured the Kharan delegation that due attention would be paid to construction of roads in the district, including the Kharan-Dalbandin road, and added that efforts would be made for electricity supply to the area. He said he would visit Kharan soon.

The delegations felicitated the governor in taking over his new responsibilities and assured him of their full cooperation.—APP
