ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: The National Assembly would meet on Feb 25 to discuss internal and foreign policy matters, but without an opposition leader; nobody has been named so far.

At the business advisory meeting of the National Assembly, presided over by the Speaker, Chaudhry Amir Hussain, it was decided that the next NA session would be held on Feb 25.

Party representatives attended the meeting and agreed on a three-point agenda — foreign policy, internal issues, and economic programmes.

The session, which would continue until the Senate elections, would elect four senators from the federal capital. The MNAs from Fata would elect eight.

One participant told Dawn that the opposition parties were divided over the naming of the leader of opposition.
