Punjab University in final
LAHORE, Feb 3: Punjab University and Government College University, Lahore entered the final of the Inter-Varsity basketball championship on Monday.
GC University, Lahore beat Engineering University, Peshawar 83-59 after leading 44-30 lead at half time. The main scorer was for the winners were Naveed (35). For the losers, Nasar (18) was the top scorer.
Punjab University beat Bahauddin, Zakariya University, Multan 87-37. The winners led 45-24 t the half way stage.
Zaheer (20) and Asad Iqbal (19) played well for the winners. Shoaib (13) starred for the losers.
