Qazi to lead rally in Capital
ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: In connection with the public rallies organized by the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) to observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day tomorrow, Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed will lead the public rally in the federal capital.
This was announced by the MMA’s MNA Mian Mohammad Aslam in a press conference here on Monday.
Similarly, Maulana Shah Ahmed Noorani will lead the rally in Karachi, Prof Sajid Mir in Lahore, Maulana Abdul Haq Baloch in Quetta and Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Peshawar.
Mr Aslam said the MMA activists would set up ‘Jihad-i- Kashmir Camps’ in all big cities to highlight the Kashmir issue. A photo and poster exhibition on Kashmir will also be organized.
The Islamabad rally will start at 12:30pm from Aabpara which will be led by Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Allama Sajid Naqvi. Activists and leaders from Jehlum, Chakwal, Gujrat and Attock will also participate in this rally.
