RO’s decision set aside
ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: The Chief Election Commissioner on Monday accepted the appeal of Farrukh Saleem, a candidate for the Senate, against the rejection of his nomination papers by a returning officer. The CEC set aside the RO’s decision.
The EC said the nomination papers for the seat of technocrat from Islamabad were rejected on Jan 28.—Staff Reporter
