KARACHI: BDS exam results announced

KARACHI, Feb 3: The University of Karachi declared on Monday the results of final professional BDS supplementary examination 2002.

The candidates of the Fatima Jinnah Dental College with seat Nos 3054, 3066, 3089, 3092, and those of the Karachi Medical and Dental College bearing seat Nos 3001 and 3024 were declared pass.

In all, 11 candidates had registered and appeared in the exam, out of whom six got through the exam.

EXAM FORMS: The University of Karachi announced on Monday that the fee and examination forms for third professional MBBS annual examination 2003 could be submitted on Feb 15 with a normal fee of Rs1,510, including examination/mark sheet fee of Rs1,450 and sport fee of Rs60.

Self-finance seats: The Principal, Dow Medical College, has invited applications against two vacant seats of overseas self-finance scheme at the Karachi centre for admission to 1st year MBBS class 2002-2003.

Those who have appeared in the entrance test for the session 2002- 2003 are eligible to apply against the vacant seats along with a photocopy of pay-order for US $5,000 in the name of principal Dow Medical College. They would also have to present a bank guarantee of $25,000, if selected.

Last date for submission of applications is Feb 17.—PPI
