ITBAK website launched

KARACHI, Feb 3: A launching ceremony of website of the Income Tax Bar Association, Karachi (ITBAK) took place on Monday, where former information minister Nisar Memon was the chief guest.

Simultaneously the tax bar also held opening ceremony of its bar room extension which will enable its growing number of members to have more rooms and space.

While appreciating the efforts of the office-bearers of the tax bar, Nisar Memon said that information technology could not be ignored at any level if information has to be shared for the enhancement of intellectual input.

Having a long 30 years association with the IT, he said the website will open the window of the tax bar to the world as it should be hooked up other professional bodies.

He said freedom of information remains meaningless unless you have ways and technology to provide the needed information in any field, it may be taxes or sports.

As of today, Nisar Memon said one could not think about economy or business without IT, and I have great admiration for the new generation who is quick in picking up IT.

The president ITBAK Abdul Qadir Memon welcoming the former minister and appreciated his services towards the country, particularly in the IT field.
