Show-cause notice served on DCO

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 1: A show-cause notice has been served on the DCO, Mirpurkhas, Qabool Ahmed Shaikh, for transferring an education officer of BPS-18.

The DCO had transferred, Ms. Mujahida Parveen, an assistant district officer (education), elementary, Digri, and posted her as the head mistress at the Government Girls’ High School, Naokot, on public complaints.

The secretary, education, has cancelled the transfer, saying that it was not in accordance with the rules.

The secretary, in a letter, addressed to the DCO, Mirpurkhas, said that the post of assistant district officer was of BPS-18 and the competent authority in this respect was the education minister, adding that the district government was not competent to transfer or post any officer of BPS-18.
