Rice truck driven away

HAFIZABAD, Jan 25: A truck laden with 200 rice bags was driven away by four highwaymen on Gujranwala road.

On way to Shakargarh from Colonel Rice Mills, Hafizabad, the truck was intercepted by the highwaymen near Iqbalnagar village, six kilometres from here.

They tied the driver and conductor with a tree, deprived them of Rs 1,800 and drove away with the truck. Sadar police have registered a case.
