Indian attempt at fencing thwarted

SIALKOT, Jan 24: The Pakistan security forces on Friday thwarted another major Indian attempt at fencing in the Bajragarhi-Jammu sector.

According to official sources, taking an advantage of thick fog, the Indian security forces started illegal fencing along the Sialkot working boundary. The Pakistani forces responded instantly and thwarted this Indian attempt.

On the other hand, the Indian troops continued firing on border villages in Chhumb Joriyan, Charwa, Bajragarhi, Jammu, Saamba and Shakargarh-Zafarwal-Narowal sectors.

No causality or injury was reported.

SUNNY DAY: Friday was a sunny day in Sialkot district after more than a month-long dry, foggy and extreme cold spell.

There was thick fog till 11am on Friday, but later it became sunny.

Earlier, special prayers were offered for rain during jumma prayers.
