Elderly woman killed

JACOBABAD, Jan 23: Eight unidentified armed men killed an elderly woman, Soomri, wife of Mohammad Shaban, in Liaquat Domki Bakhshpur village.

The killing is said to have offered after the family of the deceased tried to resist a robbery bid.

The armed men had barged into the house of Mohammad Shaban late Wednesday night and killed the woman while injuring Mohammad Hassan Chachar, Meema Khatoon and Zohra Khatoon.
