Problems to be solved at doorsteps, says Jamali
ROJHAN JAMALI, Jan 22: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Wednesday that Pakistan would be put on the road to progress and problems of the people would be solved at their doorsteps without any hassle.
“People would see a visible difference between the present and previous governments,” Jamali said while talking to various delegations from Balochistan and Sindh.
The prime minister said that genuine rule of the people had been established in the country. “Now it is the obligation of the citizens to extend full cooperation to the government.”
He said the people would not be disappointed with his government “which has assumed power only to serve them.”
He said the people “are the fountainhead of power” and that he was thankful to them for supporting him.
He said during the three-year tenure of President Gen Pervez Musharraf, many basic problems had been resolved.
“President Musharraf is always concerned about the people,” he said, adding the government will never become a burden on its citizens.
The delegations, which called on the PM, were led by Nazim Nasirabad Khan Muhammad Jamali, Tehsil Nazim Mir Muhammad Anwar Khan Umrani, former MNA Mir Faridullah Khan Jamali and Nazim Syed Ashiq Rasool Shah.
Earlier, Prime Minister Jamali arrived by air in Jacobabad from where he left by road for his village Rojhan Jamali.
The PM will stay for a night in his village and leave for Islamabad on Thursday. —APP
