KARACHI, Jan 22: Pervaiz Ahmad’s second half winner guided Habib Bank into quarterfinals after a 1-0 victory over Sindh Police in the All-Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto football tournament at Shafi Stadium Wednesday.
After a goalless first half, Pervaiz slammed home the match-winner off a Amjad Yousuf pass in the 65th minute.
Mohammad Arshad netted a 33rd-minute goal after being fed by Babar Ismail to help National Bank of Pakistan reach last eight with a 1-0 win over Askani Brothers.
