Yousuf, Irfan play decisive roles

KARACHI, Jan 21: Three more matches were decided in Siemens Inter-school cricket cup at various grounds Monday.

Zeeshan Secondary School overwhelmed Usman Grammar by nine wickets at UBL Sports Complex Ground B thanks to a fine all-round display by Yousuf. He took three wickets for 27 and later slammed 50.

At NBP Sports Complex ground, St. Michaels beat GBSS Pro Model School by 73 runs. Wasim Shahzad cracked a polished 62 for the winners.

In the third match Shaheen School bt GBSS Lyari by 84 runs at TMC Ground due to brilliant all-rounder display by Irfan Ahmed, who scored 37 and took two wickets.

Usman Grammer 111 all out in 28 overs (Furqanullah 36, Faqas Shafqat 15; Yosuf 3-27, Shehzad Jan 2-34, Farhan Khan 2-32, Naeem 2-6); Zeeshan Secondary School 113 for one in 14 overs (Yousuf 50, Haris 23, Aftab 16).
