People throng SGA cultural programme

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19: A colourful cultural and get-together programme was held at the Shah Latif Bhittai Community Centre here on Sunday.

The function was attended, besides children, by a large number of people from all walks of life, including judiciary, education, and bureaucracy.

Prominent among those who attended the programme were Supreme Court judges, Justice Ran Bhagwan Das, Justice Deedar Hussain Shah, Justice Ali Mohammad Baloch, Justice Hamid Ali Mirza, Federal Services Tribunal chairman Justice Amanullah Abbasi, the chairman of Indus River System Authority Nasser Rajput, Pakistan Agriculture Research Council chairman Dr Badar Soomro, Fazlullah Qureshi, member Nepra.

The SGA president, Amanullah Memon, highlighted various social and welfare activities of the association.

The programme was organized by the Social and Cultural Committee of the Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) for the family and children of the Sindhi community residing in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Puppet show, monkey show, quiz programme for children, skits, food, cloth stalls and musical programme were the main attraction for the children.

Folk artists presented skits on national unity and folk culture of the four provinces and received appreciation from the audience.
