Man shot dead by brothers-in-law

LAHORE, Jan 18: Two men allegedly shot dead their brother-in-law in Misri Shah on Saturday.

Police said that Sohail Ahmed, aged 35, a driver by profession, and his wife Pinki had developed differences over some issue. Pinki had started living with her parents.

On Saturday, her brothers, Shan and Usman, called Sohail at their friend’s factory in Misri Shah for reconciliation, where they opened fire on him.

He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Mayo Hospital where he died. Mr Sohail left behind three daughters.

The body was sent to the city mortuary for an autopsy.

A case was registered against the accused. However, nobody was arrested.
