LAHORE: Jamali has ‘no power’

LAHORE, Jan 18: A PPP leader says reports that Gen Pervez Musharraf plans to visit Moscow indicate that the president is calling the shots and Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali has not been handed over power.

Munir Ahmed Khan said in a statement on Saturday that unfortunately the general was not content with powers under the LFO and was transgressing his jurisdiction by sidelining the prime minister and parliament.— Staff Reporter
