ISLAMABAD, Jan 17: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri will represent Pakistan at the ministerial meeting of the UN Security Council scheduled for Jan 20.

Mr Kasuri’s French counterpart Dominique de Villepin has extended the invitation to him. France as the current President of the Security Council has convened the meeting that will address the issue of “combating terrorism in general”.

Mr Kasuri will also hold contalks with other foreign ministers on the sidelines of the UN meeting, said the foreign office spokesman on Friday.
