PPP leader meets PM

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Jan 17: Nazar Hussain Kiyani, former MNA from Chakwal, and leader of Pakistan People’s Party, called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Friday.

The meeting was held in the Prime Minister House on the request of Mr Kiyani who wanted to congratulate the prime minister on his securing vote of confidence and to condole the death of his nephew.

When asked if he had sought permission from the party leadership before meeting Mr Jamali, he said, it was his personal matter as he had old relationship with the prime minister and no law, or ethic forbid him to meet him.

He said his party association was a separate issue and he was still in PPP which he had joined 36 years ago and had no intention of leaving it.
