KARACHI: Body on transport problems

KARACHI, Jan 16: Nazim Karachi Naimatullah Khan has constituted a committee to resolve the issues and complaints with regard to the city transport.

The committee, headed by chairman transport committee of the city government, Hafiz Ahmed Ali, would submit its recommendations to the city Nazim on issues like token system, RTA rules and other traffic problems.

Hafiz Ahmed Ali has convened a meeting of the committee on January 21 at transport & communication department, city complex, to discuss the issues.

The EDO transport, the DIG traffic police, the secretary of the regional transport authority, the chairman National Transport Ittehad and others would attend the meeting.—PPI
