Four killed in collision

FAISALABAD, Jan 15: Four members of a family were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a bus near Gatwala, some 14km from here, on Wednesday.

Family members of Fazil were going to Lahore when a bus coming from the opposite side hit their car near Gatwala on the Faisalabad-Sheikhupura Road. Five occupants of the car sustained serious injuries and were taken to the Allied Hospital where four of them — Naseema, Sajida, Nasim and Abdul Aziz — were pronounced dead.

The condition of driver Irfan was stated to be critical in the hospital.

Saddar police have registered a case against the absconding bus driver.
