‘PTA set to face deregulation challenges’


ISLAMABAD, Jan 15: Deregulation of the telecom sector will offer attractive opportunities to the prospective investors and provide easy access to telecom systems and services in the far flung areas of the country at affordable rates.

This was stated by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) chairman, Maj-Gen Shahzada Alam Malik (retired), while speaking at a seminar organized by the Pakistan Institute of Development Economic (PIDE), here on Tuesday.—APP
