LARKANA, Jan 13: A large number of students of the Chandka Medical College staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Monday against the increase in tuition fees.

They also staged a sit-in at the Jinnahbagh gate.

The students said the in-crease in fees would render many students stop their education.

They said hostel fees had already been increased.

They threatened to lock the college’s administration block on Tuesday if their demands were not accepted.

BODY RECOVERED: The police have recovered the decomposed body of Muneer Ahmed Marfani, who had been missing for over a month, from a ditch near Sonwah village on Sunday.

The deceased’s body was later shifted to the Chandka Medical College Teaching Hospital for autopsy.

The body was recovered after a villager had informed the police about its location, police said.
