ISLAMABAD, Jan 11: Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Saturday that as India claimed to be world’s largest democracy, it was incumbent on her to exhibit flexible attitude.

“We are ready for talks with India at all times, which we think is the most appropriate way of resolving all outstanding issues,” he said while talking to reporters during his visit to the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

Mr Jamali visited Chaudhry Shujaat’s residence to greet him on his election as PML-Q president unopposed.

Responding to a question about the problems faced by Pakistani expatriates living in the USA, The prime minister said efforts were afoot to seek their resolution in an amicable manner and Pakistan Ambassador to the US had been instructed accordingly.

Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri is leaving in a couple of weeks to take up the matter with the US higher authorities, he added.

To another question, he said propaganda regarding Pakistan’s nuclear programme was baseless and unfounded.—APP
