Missing man’s body recovered

SANGHAR, Jan 11: The body of a missing man, Gul Mohammad, son of Malook Bhatti, was recovered from a water channel near Tando Mithan Khan on Saturday.

The deceased had disappeared some ten days ago and since then his whereabouts were not known.

On Saturday, some villagers spotted his body in a waterway at Deh Kalar.

The Peeromal police were informed and they shifted the body to the taluka hospital for post-mortem.

A few days ago, another naked body of an unidentified 15-year-old girl was found in the jurisdiction of the same police station.

The body had marks of severe torture and cuts, inflicted with a sharp weapons. An ear, nose and lips of the victim had been chopped.

WOMAN DIES: A woman died and her husband was wounded after suffering from burn injuries in Ghausia Colony, Tando Adam on Friday.
