More tests not needed: Kasuri

ISLAMABAD, Jan 11: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri on Friday said Pakistan had made commendable progress in missile technology and there was no need for a tit-for-tat testing of its missile system in response to the Indian missile tests, adding that the country had its own timetable in this respect.

In reply to a question about the Indian missile tests, the foreign minister, while talking to APP, said that Pakistan had already made commendable progress in the missile technology and it was more advanced in this regard than any country in the region.

“Its technology is indigenous and Pakistan is proud of thousands of young Pakistani men and women scientists whose dedication and knowledge have placed Pakistan in this position,” he said.
