HYDERABAD, Jan 11: The University of Sindh on Saturday announced that admission forms were available for various disciplines under self-finance scheme, evening programme.

Under the scheme, admission can be sought to the Institute of Information Technology in courses, including BS (IT), MS (IT), MIT, PGD (IT), MSc, E.Commerce, MSc, Multimedia; to the department of management sciences for MPA and post-graduate diploma in public administration, to the Institute of Pharmacy for B.Pharmacy and post-graduate diploma in pharmacy management and pharmaceutical marketing and to the English department for MA (previous.

The admission forms can also be had for admissions to MSc, rural development, external programme, under the distance learning at the Sindh Development Study Centre.

The admission forms are available at the Habib Bank, Old Campus Branch, Hyderabad and Jamshoro, on payment of the prescribed fee.

The admissions will, however, be granted on merit to students from all over the country.

RESULTS: The University of Sindh on Saturday announced the results of special semester examinations of 2001.

The examinations, whose results have been announced, include those of BA (honours) I, II and III, General History, Muslim History, Political Science, International Relations and Islamic Culture; MA (honours) final, Muslim history; MA (pass) and MA (honours), final, Political Science; MA (previous, pass and honours final) International Relations; MA (pass), final, Islamic Culture and MA (honours) and MA (pass), final, English.

CHEATING CASES: The University of Sindh has announced that those candidates, who were accused of copying in the annual examinations of BEd and MEd, off campus programme, LLB-I, II and III and MSc (previous) 2001, should appear before the examination discipline committee at the office of the controller of examinations on Jan 18.

JSQM: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) chairman Basheer Qureshi has urged people to join hands with his party in its struggle for restitution of rights of the province.
