Ghulam scores twice

By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, Jan 10: Two-goal Ghulam Ali helped Malir National rout ten-man Young Shaheen 4-0 in the All-Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto football tournament at Shafi Stadium Friday.

Malir National got off to a flying start with Ghulam Ali scoring his first in the 25th minute off Mohammad Anwar pass, while Arshad Hussain doubled the lead five minutes later.

Ghulam Ali’s 55th-minute strike was followed by a Ghulam Abbas goal in the 82nd minute that completed the tally.

Young Shaheen lost a player when Mohammad Ashraf collected his second yellow card in the 85th minute, but Malir National failed to take advantage.

Jam Eleven salvaged a 0-0 draw with Inam Memorial in another encounter at same venue.
