SHIKARPUR, Jan 10: The police on Thursday arrested the 10 accused, who were wanted in the murder case of Gulshan Maher and other Maher tribesmen, from Garhi Yasin Road.

The accused, who were arrested, included Mohammad Hassan, Ali Akbar, Andhal, Anwar Ali, Koro, Bhooral, Rahib, Mohammad Panah, Karam Ali and Khabar.

The police have started conducting raids on the villages of the Maher and the Jatoi tribes, who are believed to have been involved in the on-going tribal clashes.

A group of Jatoi tribesmen shot dead Gulshan Teghani and injured one of his relatives, Moharram Teghani, in the jurisdiction of Kot Shahoo police on Thursday.

The attackers also took away 30 buffaloes.

Kot Shahoo police have registered a case against 12 Jatoi tribesmen, including Wali Dino, Imamuddin and ten others on the complaint of Moharram Teghani.— Correspondent
