KARACHI: New minibus route

KARACHI, Jan 10: The Secretary, Regional District Transport Authority, on Friday allowed new mini bus route No. G-29.

The new alignment of the route No. G-27 will be from Orangi Town Siddiq-e-Akbar Colony via Orangi No. 10, 4, 5, Metro Cinema, Banaras Chowk, Abdulla Collge, Board Office, KDA Chowrangi, Ziauddin Hospital, Landi Kotal, Peoples Chorangi, Buffer Zone, Power House, Sohrab Goth, Fazal Mills, NIPA Chorangi, Safari Park, Jouhar Square, Pehalwan Goth, Bhitai Colony, Old Area, Airport.

The permission of G-27 route is accorded on purely temporarily basis for a period of six months subject to the condition that the operators shall transfer at least ten vehicles in their name, otherwise the order may be cancelled.

The Secretary RTA has amended the route No. P-6. The new alignment of route will be from Khokhrapar to Chaman Colony, Nadi Kinara, Khokhrapar No. 6, 4, 1, Saudabad, Urdu Nagar, Jinnah Square, Malir City, Kala Board, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Natha Khan Goth, Drigh Road Station, PAF National Stadium, New Town Police Station, Old Sabzi Mandi, Sindhi Hotel, Liaquatabad Dak Khan, Khamosh Colony, Nazimabad Chowrangi No.1, Jahangirabad, Bara Board, Habib Bank, Estate Avenue, Shershah, Hub river Road, Moach Goth and Naval Colony.—PPI
