LAHORE, Jan 9: Pakistan Customs’ left-handed opening pair of Kashif Siddique and Azhar Shafiq shared a partnership of 235 to help their side reach 271 for one on another curtailed day’s play in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Group-III tie against Lahore Whites on Thursday.
Only 32 overs were possible at the LCCA Ground during which Customs added 178 to their overnight score of 93 for no loss. Both Azhar and Kashif completed their centuries the LCCA Ground, Thursday.
Kashif perished after making a 136-ball 128, striking 20 boundaries. Azhar, on the other hand, remained unbeaten on 107 off 175 deliveries, a knock that has so far included 14 fours and one towering six.
Meanwhile, no play was possible at all in the other two matches of this group because of unrelenting bad weather.
Habib Bank had scored 107 for two against Sialkot on Wednesday at the Saga ground.
There was second straight blank day at Lahore Country Club in Muridke where Gujranwala and Sheikhupura facing each other.
