Eritrean FM due today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 9: Minister for Foreign Affairs of Eritrea, Ali Said Abdella would be arriving here on Friday (today) on a five- day goodwill visit.

He would be accompanied by the Minister for Education Osman Salh and senior officials from the ministries of health and industry. This is the first high-level visit from Eritrea to Pakistan.

He is carrying a special message from President Isaias Afowerki of Eritrea for the President Musharraf.

He would hold talks with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri and will also meet other Pakistani authorities to explore the possibility of bilateral cooperation. —APP
