Pakistan to face Germany in opener

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8: Pakistan will take on Germany in their opening match of six-nation 12th Azlan Shah Cup International hockey Tournament at Ipoh on March 22.

According to programme released by Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) on Wednesday besides Pakistan and Germany, India, South Korea and host Malaysia will be participating in the 8-Day event.

The top two teams after the round-robin league will clash in the final which will be played on March 30.

March 22, India vs New Zealand, Pakistan vs Germany, Malaysia vs Korea

March 23, Pakistan v Malaysia, India v Germany

March 24, Korea v New Zealand

March 25, Pakistan v New Zealand, India v Korea, Malaysia v Germany

March 26, Pakistan v India

March 27, Germany v Korea, Malaysia v New Zealand

March 28, Pakistan v Korea, Germany v New Zealand, Malaysia v India

March 29, Rest day
