613 patients treated

QUETTA, Jan 7: The Health Department organized a three-day medical camp at Awaak in the drought-hit area of Aranji and provided free treatment and medicines to 613 people suffering from various diseases.

The camp comprised surgeon Ilahi Bakhsh, ENT specialist Dr Shams, TB in charge Dr Qayyum Zehri, gynaecologist Dr Gul Lala and paramedical staff. According to doctors, no epidemic or virus had broken out in the area. People are suffering from common diseases caused by the non-availability of drinking water and medical facilities.—APP
