Faisalabad emerge as top team
LAHORE, Jan 6: Faisalabad became top team after 2-0 victory over Karachi ‘B’ in the preliminary round final of the 50th national hockey championship on Sunday.
Both the teams have already qualified for the main round to be held in Karachi from Jan 25.
Faisalabad drew first blood when Amir Sahi converted the penalty stroke in the 11th minute.
Faisalabad doubled the lead four minutes into second half when Shahbaz scored off Riaz pass.
