Rough ride for foreign coaches

KARACHI, Jan 6: In an amazing coincidence the four cricket teams that are in trouble playing abroad are all being coached by foreigners, three of them belonging to the very country that is putting their charges to the sword, reports Sports masala.com.

India under the hammer in New Zealand, is being coached by Kiwi John Wright. Pakistan having a rough ride in South Africa is under the care of Richard Pybus, a Springbok himself.

Sri Lanka, playing a triangular one-day event in Australia, is being coached by Australian Dave Whatmore, while England in Australia has Duncan Fletcher of Zimbabwe pulling the coaching strings.

This clearly proves the point that foreign coaches are no solution to team’s success or failure.
