BoG’s meeting postponed

Published January 6, 2003

RAWALPINDI, Jan 5: This year’s first meeting of the board of governors of Rawalpindi Medical College and allied hospitals scheduled to be held on Saturday could not take place due to want of quorum, a source said.

The minimum required number of officials were not present as the officers of the provincial government did not turn up.

“In the absence of the quorum, the BoG could not take up the policy matters that were to be taken up at the meeting,” the source said, and added that informal discussions however continued.
