Poisonous tea kills woman, two sons

BAHAWALPUR, Jan 4: A mother and her two sons were killed while five other members of the family fainted after taking poisonous tea in Chak 23-BC on Saturday.

Police said Akram and his seven family members ate rice and took tea. Soon after that, they started vomiting. They were taken to the BV Hospital where Akram’s wife Sughra and sons Mahmood and Asiq Javed died some hours later. The condition of Akram and his daughters Ramzani, Rukhsana and two others, whose names could not be known, was stated to be critical.—APP
