Four houses looted
SIALKOT, Jan 4: A gang of 16 dacoits looted Rs600,000 worth gold ornaments, cash, electronic goods and other valuables from four houses on main Pasrur-Daska Road on Friday night.
The dacoits forced their entry into the houses of Dr Mahmood Ahmad, Inayat Rahmani, Zahoor Ahmad and Rashid Rahmani in Mukta village (Pasrur tehsil). They held up the inmates, collected the loot and beat up some women who resisted before escaping.
Pasrur police registered separate cases, with no arrest.
