HYDERABAD, Jan 4: The All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA), Sindh and Balochistan chapters, has condemned the attack on a church in Chianawali, Daska, on Christmas day, terming it a conspiracy against minorities.
Speaking at a joint news conference at the press club here on Saturday, Sindh APMA president Saleem Khursheed Khokhar and Balochistan APMA president Michael Javed regretted the government and the local administration had made no security arrangements on the Christmas day to protect the lives of the Christians.
They deplored not a single murderer had been arrested so far.
They said attacks on minorities would only create anarchy and bring a bad name to the country. They said the present government had also failed to curb terrorist activities in the country.
They demanded a high-level inquiry into the Daska killings and arrest the murderers. They said the alliance would soon convene an all parties conference and put up the case of the minorities before it.
