KARACHI, Jan 1: Syed Ghulam Nabi Shah, secretary, and Ashraf Jehan, additional secretary, Sindh law and human rights department, on Wednesday presented a cheque of Rs200,000 to the father of the victims of the Ramswami gang-rape.
Lawyers for Human Rights and Legal Aid President Zia Ahmed Awan was also present.
The financial assistance for relocation of the family was announced by former governor Mohammedmian Soomro.—PPI
