GUJRANWALA, Dec 31: Two police constables involved in the killing of a man in a fake encounter were arrested on Tuesday by the Cantt police after a judicial inquiry found them guilty.

Constables Abbas and Yasin Butt killed one Hafeez with the help of their colleagues Saifullah and Azizur Rahman in a fake encounter in Ferozewala village about a year ago.

The district administration ordered a judicial inquiry which found them guilty. A case was registered against them but they escaped arrest.

On Tuesday, police received information that the accused were present in the cantonment area. A raid was conducted and accused Abbas and Yasin were arrested. The other two are still at large.
