Traders urged to pay taxes

LAHORE, Dec 30: Zone A Income Tax Commissioner Shaukat Ali has urged the traders to promote tax culture in the country for generating funds for development. Talking to traders during a visit to the Gowalmandi Food Street here on Monday, he said traders should submit tax returns regularly to avoid legal action.

He said the officials of the department would help and guide traders in filling the tax forms.

Food Street chairman Khwaja Shakil Ahmad thanked the commissioner for visiting the area and hearing the problems of traders regarding the income tax returns.
