Press club polls on Jan 13

PESHAWAR, Dec 30: Elections of Peshawar Press Club would be held on Jan 13, said a press release issued on Sunday.

The five-member election committee, led by Sharif Mohmand, announced the schedule in a meeting at the club.

The committee asked the members to renew their membership after paying their dues, if any, by Tuesday.

The committee will receive the nomination papers by Jan 2 and release the preliminary list of the candidates after the scrutiny on Jan 3. Objections against the nominations will be received by Jan 5, while Jan 8 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature. The committee will release the final list of the candidates on Jan 9.
